Kansai illustrated guide to advertising

PRESARTO, volume 1, 1937

PRESARTO was a professional magazine containing actual printed advertising materials and packaging bound together with a booklet that lists reviews and printing specifications. It was first published in the Kansai region, including Osaka, in 1937 as a journal only for members of the Press Alto Study Group, and was published roughly monthly for about 40 years. The Nakanoshima Museum of Art, Osaka, has collected almost all of its issues. At the time, it served as a sample book of the latest advertising print materials, and even today it is a valuable resource conveying the advertising culture of Kansai.
