About Digital Osaka Museums

Digital Osaka Museums is a website that allows users to browse and search the collections of six museums and art museums in Osaka City (Osaka City Museum of Fine Arts, Osaka Museum of Natural History, The Museum of Oriental Ceramics, Osaka Science Museum, Osaka Museum of History, and Nakanoshima Museum of Art). You can view the collections in various fields such as art, history, and natural science.

This website is linked to the “OSAKA-HAKU” website (https://osakahaku.ocm.osaka/), which will be implemented by the above six museums in conjunction with the Osaka-Kansai Expo in 2025, and will introduce the “Treasures of Osaka” (collections selected by the six museums) that will be on display at the “Osaka Expo”.

Museum Revitalization Executive Committee

The Museum Revitalization Executive Committee is a voluntary organization that aims to revitalize the local community, enhance the attractiveness of the area, improve the culture and education of the citizens, and create a lively city by increasing the number of visitors to Osaka through the attractive activities of the museums and related organizations in Osaka City. It is comprised of Administrative Agency for Osaka City Museums, Osaka International House Foundation（i-house）, Osaka Convention & Tourism Bureau, and Osaka City Cultural Properties Association, and was selected by the Agency for Cultural Affairs for the 2023 Innovate MUSEUM Project (Museum DX Promotion Project).
